Terms & Conditions
Rohaven
Guest House, hereinafter called (the hotel) enters
into a contract, (whether verbal or written) to
supply goods and/or services to you, (the customer)
for the price quoted. Reservations/bookings are only
accepted on payment of a deposit, (by cash, cheque,
credit/debit card, electronic transfer, or by other
means) unless a properly established credit account
is duly authorized and in place. The bedroom tariff
is clearly displayed at reception, on our internet
website and in various trade magazines, tourist
information offices and holiday journals, however,
Terms and Conditions and this tariff is from
time-to-time subject to change and it is the
responsibility of the customer to be aware of our
charges.
In the
case of hotel accommodation; the
hotel requires a
minimum deposit
of £20.00 per room, (the deposit may be greater
depending on the time of the year and the duration
of the reservation) and this sum will be forfeited
in the event of cancellation with less than 48 hours
notice*; or in the event of a 'no-show', we reserve
the right to deduct the full amount for a minimum of
one night at full rack rate from the credit/debit
card held.
*Corporate or Block
Bookings. N.B. In the case of 'block' or large group
reservations (bookings in excess of 5 bedrooms) the
deposit is non-refundable if the booking is
cancelled within 30 days of the day of arrival.
In the event of a cancellation with less than
24 hours notice, the hotel reserves the right to
demand full
payment for a minimum of one night at
full rack rate.
Telephone, email and faxed bookings usually result
in our taking customer's credit/debit card details
as security at the time of booking and taking a
minimum deposit
at the time of booking. In the event of a deposit
having been made by cheque, or in the event of
booking being charged to an account, any subsequent
billing will be sent through the post and full
payment will be expected by return.
Damage
to Bedrooms/Additional charges:
In
the event of damage, (either accidental or wilful)
the hotel reserves the right to pass-on the cost of
rectifying any such damage in full, (this includes
vomit, food stains, bed wetting or pet damage); in
addition to the above, the hotel will also charge in
full for any lost room-nights resulting from such
incidents. These charges will be taken from the
customer's credit/debit card as 'Customer Not
Present' and the customer will be informed by post.
Double/Twin bedrooms are often let for single
occupancy. This is a concessionary arrangement and
carries an element of trust. in the event that
additional persons are found to have occupied these
rooms, we reserve the right to charge in full for
double occupancy.
Payment;
Full Payment is required on arrival by cash or
cheque supported by a bankers card. |
